INGENIA > Servo Drives > i206A Custom Exoskeleton Servo Drive
In most of the wearable robots and exoskeleton applications, having an accurate movement tracking is the key to success. Integrating an IMU with Gyro, Accelerometer, and Compass tracking system in the servo-drive design, as well as including a SIL 3 certifiable STO have been requirements for the i206A design. Also, a low standby power consumption and best-in-class efficiency were mandatory requirements for the i206A servo drive solution.
The i206A servo drive has been engineered into an extra-flat profile based on the of-the-shelf Everest Core pluggable module to make the customer’s exoskeleton thinner and less bulky.
Ingenia’s Everest Core and Everest Net pluggable modules are excellent solutions for applications requiring a fast-time-to-market, excellent performance and fast communication protocols: SPI, CANopen, or EtherCAT.
